PPID (Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi) is a public official or body responsible for managing, storing, and providing public access to information and documentation within a government institution or organization. In Indonesia, PPID is established to ensure transparency and accountability by facilitating public access to information, in accordance with the Undang-Undang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik<\/em> (Public Information Disclosure Act, Law No. 14 of 2008).<\/p>\n

The PPID’s tasks typically include:<\/p>\n
