APA Itu PPID ?

PPID (Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi) is a public official or body responsible for managing, storing, and providing public access to information and documentation within a government institution or organization. In Indonesia, PPID is established to ensure transparency and accountability by facilitating public access to information, in accordance with the Undang-Undang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (Public Information Disclosure Act, Law No. 14 of 2008).

The PPID’s tasks typically include:

  1. Providing Access to Public Information: Ensuring that individuals can obtain public information efficiently.
  2. Managing and Classifying Information: Classifying information into categories like public, restricted, or confidential.
  3. Processing Information Requests: Receiving and responding to information requests from the public.
  4. Maintaining Documentation: Organizing and storing documents related to public activities for future access.
  5. Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring that government bodies comply with public information laws.

PPID offices are commonly found in government institutions, such as ministries, regional offices, and universities.
